If you follow along with the Martin Family circus on Instagram, you just might have heard how I am obsessing about Christmas this season! Last year we were packing to move into our new home (the one we are in now!) and this year we are due to welcome our third babe on November 20th. We didn’t decorate last year with the move, but and I MISSED the magic and so did the girls. This year we are going to deck the halls early so we aren’t decorating with a newborn and I can’t wait! Until then, I’m holding off by scheming and dreaming and inspiration! So in Christmas cheer, I wanted to share with you an editorial I designed and styled last year for Danielle of Shop Dandy!
Shop Dandy is Danielle’s personal fashion blog. She has the prettiest southern style!
Danielle wanted to blend a modern look with traditional Christmas colors in Red and White (and a little green, too!). I loved being apart of this project. It really stretched my creative muscles since I don’t normally work with the color red! I mixed the traditional red, white, and green palette with pops of modern gold touches.
We created multiple sets for Danielle to model in including a cozy corner with a Christmas tree and wrapped presents and a styled Christmas table.
See all the pretty Shop Dandy details captured by Sarahdipity Photos right here!

Seriously! She is the cutest and ROCKED the look!

This set featured my new flocked tree from Amazon! I bought it last year knowing full well I wouldn’t be able to put it up in our own home, so I was glad Danielle for to twirl around in front of it for her holiday Shop Dandy posts! We wrapped up presents and Sugar Paper LA holiday boxes to complete the look!

Of course I added in some flat lay fun! I just loved the sweet treats and couldn’t resist!

Our next set featured the most STUNNING fresh flowers and a wreath by my friend Shea Hopely! Danielle wanted a set for holiday entertaining so naturally, I was all over it! Her Christmas table featured gold charger plates and flatware, plaid napkins, vintage green goblets, and a cheese board! We completed the look with a DIY wall art featuring Nordstrom’s JOY marquee and you can get the EASY step-by-step how to deets to make it happen HERE!

How adorable did Danielle look in this set! I was snapping pics on my phone like a proud and sappy stylist Mama, ha! This shoot really reminded me how much I LOVE commercial styling!

I was so honored to create this shoot for Danielle! I really loved designing with the traditional red, white, and green holiday colors. Almost enough to do it in our home… almost 😉
But alas, I’ll be decking the Martin Family home in tons of bright colors! Surprise, surprise! Here’s till we can count down to Christmas 2017!
