I am so excited to show you the pictures from Esley’s first flower arranging party today! I have to admit, this party was in classic second child style. As in, I had no plan until literally the day before! Poor girl.

But even on the fly, I was so happy with the party that came about! After 4 days in North Carolina for the Cultivate Retreat and seeing the AMAZING floral arranging class with blooms gifted by Fifty Flowers, a light bulb went off to create a similar idea for the kids. For a last minute event, this little idea was pretty easy. I grabbed an assortment of blooms and arranged them in various containers and the result was a big look without too much fuss! When you have bunches of garden roses, tea roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, and more, you can get away without too many details!

We invited Esley’s cousins and friends over and let them go to town creating little flower arrangements. They were adorable in shades of pink and lavender!

The best part came after the party. The evening before Jeremy and I talked about how we would love to gift the little arrangements to the residents at the nursing home down the road. Again, in last minute style, I called the home and they were so excited about the idea! On the day of we hosted a small party of family and a couple friends and let all the kids create little arrangements while snacking on popcorn, sang happy birthday to Esley over chocolate cake and then hopped in our cars for the nursing home.

I wish you could have been there to see the residents light up over our babies passing out flowers. It was the sweetest scene I have seen in a long time! The kids were so gentle and the residents had smiles on their faces from ear to ear!
