Welcome to my Colorful Fall Dining Room Decor Tour! If you are like me, you aren’t a huge orange or brown or red fan. Unfortunately, that is the extent of Fall decor. But pink, navy, blue, gold, and green Fall decor? That sounds like a dream 😉

I think traditional Fall dining room table decor is nice, but it just doesn’t fit in with my bright and colorful aesthetic. So I set out to create some festive details that could fit perfectly my preppy home style!

And I did it in just a couple hours!

The BTS story:

Yesterday I did something just for me. As in I created for no other reason than I wanted to. No deadline. No one to impress. No one to judge.

The girls and I painted pumpkins and then put together this colorful explosion of a fall table scape and it was so fun!

I also did something that I have been putting off for WAY too long: learning the tools to get my editing process under control. I know how to use my DSLR in manual mode, but editing has been a monster I have dreaded over the past year. So much so that it has truly hindered me from creating all the content I want to create.

But no longer!

I’ll share my shooting and editing process soon here on the blog, but for now, can we talk about how it is September 1st?

How??

Even though it is 1000 degrees outside, I was ready for some fun and festive Fall decor. So we got crafty and DIY painted craft store pumpkins!

Besides the pumpkins and fresh white stock flowers, I had everything else in my home to create this look. The DIY Painted Pumpkin project cost me less than $70 including 40 mini pumpkins and all the paint. And since they are foam pumpkins from the craft store, I can pack them up once Fall is over and reuse them year after year! #win.

Dining Room Details: Our table and chairs are thrifted items! DIY furniture re-dos is kinda my favorite little hobby! I recovered the chairs in an emerald green preppy pattern for a pop of fun color. The white shelves are from Restoration Hardware Outlet. They are actually from the RH Teen office line, ha! The bar cart, quatrefoil mirror, pineapple ice bucket, and gold barware are all Target steals! The gold flatware is from West Elm and the white table linen and hot pink swiss dot napkins are both Kate Spade (from Home Goods!). Fun Fact: Those green goblets were my moms! She probably got them 20 years ago. And recently Pottery Barn sold an exact replica. Funny how old trends become new again!

The sweet vintage blush goblets are from France. But don’t tell anyone that I got them off eBay 😉 Seriously. You can get tons of vintage dinnerware from ebay at super affordable prices!
